CEO of APURA Cybersecurity Intelligence (http://apura.com.br), Sandro Süffert has worked for more than twenty years in technology, having been in the forefront of IT Security in several leading Brazilian organizations such as Banco do Brasil, Brasil Telecom, a Supreme Court and other government bodies in Brazil.
He has extensive experience in implementation of leading market solutions and development of visionary security solutions, as well as in adjusting the security posture and responding to security incidents and frauds in those institutions and in other large companies, government agencies, law enforcement and military agencies.
Sandro has teaching experience in IT Security and Computer Forensics in several post-graduation institutions and in the Masters Forensic IT program at the Federal University of Brasilia, in association with the Electrical Engineering Department and the Brazilian Federal Police.
During the last three years, he was in charge of the design and teaching of four courses on Computational Forensics using open code solutions at the headquarters of Interpol, in France. He is a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences, such as ICCyber, CNASI, Fecomércio Electronic Crimes, SECGov, IBM Security Day, SegInfo, Campus Party, SBSeg and Underground Economy/interpol, and many others.
Sandro is a member of ABNT, Committee CB21/CE27, the Committee of High Technology Crimes of the Brazilian Bar Association/SP, the Technical and Scientific Comitee of the Center of Cibernetic Defense in Brazil and of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, New York chapter.
